* This workshop will introduce you to the art of constructing scrolls for use in your bonsai tree presentations. In the more formal bonsai presentations that will be exhibited at the convention, scrolls become a spiritual part of the overall presentation. It is not easy to acquire the proper scroll for your tree, so this workshop will teach you how to make your own personalized scrolls. Actually, you will walk out of this workshop with 2 scrolls suitable for immediate use. One will be smaller, 9-12" long, using a preprinted scene and will introduce you to the materials, parts, and design of a scroll. The second will be larger, 18-24" long, and a self-painted watercolor scene or lettering of your choice. *
